Check-in Procedure

By Train

Osaka / Wakayama

If you are coming from Osaka, take the JR Limited Express “Kounotori” from Osaka Station and transfer at Fukuchiyama Station to the Kyoto Tango Railway bound for Amanohashidate.
Get off at Amanohashidate Station.
If you are coming from Wakayama, please travel to Osaka Station first, and then follow the same route as above from Osaka.

From Kyoto, Shiga, or Nara

Guests traveling from Kyoto:Take the JR Limited Express “Kinosaki” from Kyoto Station and transfer at Fukuchiyama Station to the Kyoto Tango Railway bound for Amanohashidate.
Get off at Amanohashidate Station.
Guests traveling from Shiga or Nara:Please travel to Kyoto Station first. From there, follow the same route as those coming from Kyoto.

Kobe

From Kobe, take the JR Kobe Line Rapid Service from Sannomiya Station and transfer at Amagasaki Station to the JR Limited Express Kounotori.
At Fukuchiyama Station, transfer to the Kyoto Tango Railway bound for Amanohashidate and get off at Amanohashidate Station.

Shuttle Service

For guests arriving by train, we offer a complimentary shuttle service from Amanohashidate Station to the resort.
Please make a reservation for the shuttle at least 3 days before your stay.

For those arriving by highway bus

Osaka / Wakayama / Kobe

From Osaka and Kobe, there are direct express buses to the Amanohashidate area.
These buses are jointly operated by Hankyu Highway Bus and Tango Kairiku Kotsu.
If you are coming from Wakayama, please travel to Osaka first and board the bus from one of the Osaka bus stops.

Kyoto / Shiga / Nara

There is a direct express bus from Kyoto to the Amanohashidate area.
This bus is operated by Tango Kairiku Kotsu.
Guests coming from Shiga or Nara should first travel to Kyoto and board the bus from one of the Kyoto bus stops.

Shuttle Service

For guests arriving by highway bus, we offer complimentary shuttle service from Amanohashidate Station to the facility.
Please make a reservation at least three days prior to your stay.

For guests arriving by car

Osaka / Shiga / Kyoto

For guests driving from Osaka or Shiga:
Take the Meishin Expressway and Kyoto Jukan Expressway toward Miyazu City (Aza Sutsu) and continue to National Route 176.
Exit at the Yosa-Amanohashidate Interchange on the San’in Kinki Expressway, then follow National Route 178 north to the destination.
For guests driving from Kyoto:
Enter the Kyoto Jukan Expressway from National Route 9, and from there, follow the same route as those coming from Osaka.

Nara

If you are driving from Nara, take the Keinawa Expressway north and continue onto the Shin-Meishin Expressway at Joyo Junction.
At Yawata-Kyotanabe Junction, enter the Daini-Keihan Road.
Then, at Kumiyama Junction, follow the Kyoto-Jukan Expressway toward Route 176 in the city of Miyazu.
Exit at Yosa-Amanohashidate IC onto the San’in-Kinki Expressway, and continue north along Route 178.

Wakayama

If you are driving from Wakayama, take the Hanwa Expressway and proceed north on the Kinki Expressway.
Enter the Daini Keihan Road at Kadoma JCT, then continue on the Kyoto Jukan Expressway from Kyōmyōyama JCT toward Route 176 in Miyazu City (Azasu area).
Exit at the Yosa Amanohashidate IC on the San’in Kinki Expressway, and continue north along Route 178.

Kobe

If you are driving from Kobe, take the Hanshin Expressway Route 7 (Kita-Kobe Line) north via the Rokko-Kita Toll Road.
Enter the Chugoku Expressway at the Kobe-Sanda Interchange, then proceed to the Maizuru-Wakasa Expressway at the Fukuchiyama Interchange.
From the Ayabe Junction, continue on the Kyoto Jukan Expressway to Route 176 in Miyazu City (Aza Sutsu).
Exit at the Yosa Amanohashidate Interchange on the San’in Kinki Expressway, and continue north on Route 178.
