The Ultimate Totonou, Found Only in a Space That's Entirely Your Own
Two Saunas, and a Soak in Natural Gold and Silver Onsen
KUON is equipped with a strikingly designed Estonian sauna cabin, a steam sauna perfect for sauna beginners, and two rare natural hot springs — Gold Onsen and Silver Onsen.
Here is the ultimate full course of contrast bathing, found nowhere else.
SAUNA OCEAN VIVA
Cabin Sauna
KUON's private sauna is an extraordinary space: the refined Saunature Viva 210 cabin, paired with the finest sauna stove, the HUUM HIVE Mini 9.
The moment you open the door, the rich, sweet scent of ThermoWood® envelops you completely.
Pour aromatic water over the heated sauna stones, and fine steam rises with a pleasant hiss, its gentle heat spreading through the room as it travels along the wooden walls.
Surrender to a stillness like watching flickering flames,
and enjoy deep sauna time at your own pace, at whatever temperature suits you.

ONSEN STEAM SPA / MILD EDITION
Steam Sauna
KUON also features a steam sauna in the indoor bathroom alongside the Silver Onsen.
Filled with dense, high-humidity steam, it encourages a natural sweat with a gentle, comfortable heat — perfect for anyone who finds a traditional sauna too intense, or is trying a sauna for the first time.
Because the steam itself is generated from Silver Onsen water,
you can feel its beauty benefits enveloping your entire body.
If you've ever worried that a sauna might dry out your skin or hair, this exquisite steam sauna experience will change your mind.

Your Private Pool, Indulgently Repurposed as a Cold Plunge
Cold Plunge & Outdoor Terrace
Once you've warmed up to your core, step out to the private pool right in front of the sauna. In a space that's entirely your own, with no one else in sight, dive freely into its full expanse.
After cooling down comfortably in the pool, move straight to the terrace for outdoor air rest at its finest.
Let the sea breeze off Miyazu Bay wash over you, and focus on nothing but the sound of the waves and your own breath.
On clear days, look up at an endless blue sky and feel your senses sharpen; on rainy days, watch the water ripple quietly and sink into introspection.
Here, a rich totonou experience flows in harmony with nature's changing moods.

Two Celebrated Hot Springs, and a New Kind of Totonou
Gold Onsen & Silver Onsen
Another of KUON's great pleasures is its two natural hot springs, rare even by national standards.
Rich in iron, the Gold Onsen is a mysterious, celebrated spring that transforms into a beautiful reddish-brown as the water meets the air.
A subtle, noble scent of iron and a mellow, gentle touch on the skin slowly melt away the fatigue of travel.
Thanks to its excellent heat retention, a comfortable warmth lingers long after you step out, warming both body and mind.
The Silver Onsen, meanwhile, is a weakly alkaline simple hot spring brimming with metasilicic acid
— a true "beauty bath" that wraps skin softly after a sauna or pool session, delivering an exquisite bathing sensation.
Enjoy it alongside the steam sauna for the full effect. Sauna → cold plunge → Gold Onsen → Silver Onsen.
Looping through this ultimate four-step contrast-bathing cycle for as long as you like, with no clock to watch, is a privilege found only at KUON, with its luxurious whole-villa retreat style.

All-Inclusive ServiceEverything You Need, Included

We also keep hojicha on hand for löyly, plus herbal tea, detox water, and sauna drinks like "oropo" to ease a body that's worked up a good sweat before and after your sauna. And once you've stepped out of the bath, round things off with a cooling scoop of ice cream.

Since the space is completely private, you're free to enjoy contrast bathing at your own pace, whenever you like, without a thought for anyone else.
